Go for it!
Sounds good, thanks. As of right now, I am rather fond of their paisley pocket square collection more than the variety of ties they have, which seem to be fairly limited - of course I am only interested in stripe ties of the 'repp' nature. Still a pretty good selection, but again, limited on the colour combinations I fancy. I have been perusing their website for the past 30 minutes!
Cheers,

Thanks for the link to tiebars, I just ordered 6 pocketsquares for 1/2 the price of 1 at Ben Silver.

Why not? It has to do with the way they are woven, not with the material. I have ties from much more expensive makers (Brooks Brothers, Izod, etc.) that have the exact same weave, it's just that theirs are finer. I suspect it has to do more with the size of the threads than their content as I believe these are 100% silk.

Gotcha - that makes sense. My neck and bow ties from Ben Silver and Brooks Brothers are very smooth, without any noticeable woven 'lines' that resemble something as large as corduroy. I may just stick with their (The Tie Bar) pocket squares if I decide to place an order with them - not sure though.

There's always Smart Turn Out. Excellent quality and customer service but a bit pricey http://www.smartturnout.co.uk/produc...ack-watch.html
Otherwise there's http://www.beautiesltd.com/category/...ripes-bow-ties where you can even have custom jobs made but a bit pricey as well.

Ah yes, STO. One of Jock Scot's favourite websites. I have my Regimental tie from them.
Speaking of Jock, I haven't seen him around lately. You guys didn't scare him off after that last big thread fiasco when he threatened to leave, did you?
