First off, I made my request before the conversation became what it became, where it is now, I think off topic is the right place for it.
Second, I made a mistake when I typed my request. I meant to request it to be moved to "Kilt Advice" as the question was asking advice on how people recommend wearing a concealed weapon with a kilt, this was an appropriate place for it. Certainly more apropriate than many of the other conversations that belong in off topic but aren't there. I don't want to give any examples because people might think I am making personal attacks.
Third, as for my coming in in an "irate manner" about the guidelines for kilt-wearing... the question posed in that topic was by someone asking what is considered proper Highland wear. Other people came on saying that there was no reason to learn proper Highland wear. I thought that was increadibly rude. When someone is obviously interested in learning the "proper" way of doing something people shouldn't have butted in and acted like he was wasting his time by trying to learn.
I assume you are referring to my wearing tartan neckties when you mention a "rule" I am choosing to ignore. According to "So You're Going to Wear the Kilt" the tartan necktie is considered acceptable in the United States.
