The absolute horror! I think the 'model' is a woman, too, and the red bead eyes on the second I'm sure will give me nightmares tonight! Let's send a photo to Steven King and see what he comes up with for a story based on it. Cujo-esque?

Re: Mask Sporran DON'T
This particular monstrosity by ebay seller rainwarri0r seems to be one of his many native american and mountain man themed designs, including several mask fox headresses, and more likely is meant to be a belt pouch of some primitive devise than a true sporran. Another recent vendor bonsaipottery seems to be truly trying to sell some of his own "creations" as designed mask and non-mask fur (sometimes mixed fur---moose and beaver together?) and even bird feather pelt (pheasant in one case and rooster and fur in another). Unfortunately the taxidermy looks amateurish and the sporran pouches are either cheap leather sporrans with the pelts glued on or no underlying leather pouch support with the pouch simply made by turning in the remains of the pelt so there is fur all around front, sides, and back. He is also the guy who put the funky zebra hide sporran on a few weeks back, and has another similar zebra dress sporran with zebra mane tassels and, fascinatingly, the whole zebra tail hanging from the front bottom of the sporran nearly to the ground.
Yikes.

Reminds me of some scary movies I've seen... Especially that demonic thing with the red eyes!

I really don't know what to say about these "sporrans" other than that hurts my eyes. I took a look at some of the other items in the store http://www.ebay.com/itm/Native-Ameri...item35b48bf919 and I've made items out of snapper shells including a purse for my wife pictured here which started out like this and I showed my wife the photo of the shell bag from the store and I will not repeat what she said.

I'd wear that as a sporran with my Colorado state tartan kilt! That's beautiful!

Thanks, I'm working on my own sporran out of one of the smaller shells right now just haven't decided on the flap yet got it narrowed down to either beaver or otter.

Re: Mask Sporran DON'T
I've seen a number of homemade full mask sporrans that are so large they overwhelm the wearer.
