Me too Al but it doesn't seem long before you feel like a part of the place. I can't tell you how strongly I dislike towns or cities and yet I'm quite happy bumbling round Edinburgh for the last 5 days. It's funny that one of my lads loves the full monty, he's looking up tartans to see which he likes .

To be honest, I don't make a very good tourist. I like to get off the beaten track and mix with the locals. Less chance of getting ripped off.

I take it you were kilted while you were there. Any reaction to the non - tartan?
