The entire park is well used but extremely well-maintained.
You know, I think it's been awhile since I've heard any killer klezmer bouncing off those rocks...
Nice photos LitTrog, I didn't recognize Red Rocks with all that snow on the seats/benches.
As some may not know, another nice feature of Red Rocks is the Summer lightning storms over the plains to the East. If you sit up high on the amphitheater, you can see the band on the stage with the natural light show occurring beyond them in the sky! Very cool!

Excellent point. It kind of reinforces the fact that there is no bad place to be seated. Even if you're one of those folks who just has to be close to the band, those occasional light shows more than compensate if you buy late or "cheap."

Re: WELSH RUGBY SCARF 2012 ... a travel log in pictures.
Here are the updated pictures of 1/2 the scarfs trip here in Charleston SC.
It was a wonderfull day out on the Battery I balmy 35*F, So my family and I decided to have a picnic!!
The Battery is where the 1st shots of the American Civil War began. Here you can see the sea wall on the right, the Ravanell Bridge , and Off in the distance the USS Yorktown
that square above the "Y" is Fort Sumter, 1st shots where aimed at.
A little architecture and wrought iron.
This Angel Fountain was made by my 3rd grade teachers husband, while i was her pupil. It was a gift the children of the city.
Funny part of the whole day was while i was on the Battery Wall taking pictures A woman walks up and says " what part of Scotland are you from" and my reply as" I am from Charleston" She say " Oh I was wondering what Scotsman would be waving a Welsh Flag". We chatted a little and I told her about what we were doing with the journey of the scarf and then she complimented my Kilt and we parted.
Thank for letting me Host the scarf. I passed it on today and we should have a few pictures coming on that front soon!!!

Cool pictures--I was hoping you'd get some shots of Sumter! I've never been to Charleston, but it (and the whole of N and S Carolina) is on my travel wishlist.
We all appreciate the retinal sacrifice your family made for that first pic. Looking into the sun like that, both will have a huge dark blob in their vision for a few days!
