Re: Tyger's New Ryan Ross Bonnet

Mark, I'm so happy that your bonnet arrived safely, and may I say that you're rocking it for all it's worth!

Thanks so much for the kind words, and your pose is fantastic! And I love the grown out hair, sir- I've always thought that was an especially good look, with traditional Scottish headgear.

As for pictures, I only have the one, and it doesn't show nearly so much detail as yours, I don't believe.

You 2 are professional knitters, and I know that you know the ropes on the yarn front. Hey, my wife has so much 'stash' that I am going to have to build her a 12x20 or 12x24 to put it all in. The stash has taken over the house, and now is threatening my workshop!

    I am not kidding.

If she were a PADI diver, she would have violated every limit.

    Whoooo boy!

So... is it Tyger, or Sabretooth?

It is Tyger, and don't you forget it!

Guys at the gym fall out when I tell them I am 60. I can still max out a lot of those damn machines, and don't hurt myself too often on that. But, I can't move what I used to be able to move, and that is a bummer.

Shoot, I am way off topic. Lookout: bound to be a dipwand comment about that. And I might get reported. Oooooooo.

This new bonnet is such a fine piece of work that I hate to call it a bonnet.

And I was shooting in a mirror so it is backwards. I am left-handed. And I point left-handed. I gotta fix that:

I've just come to expect it whenever anyone says something about anything around here.

I really dig the color on that bonnet, btw. I've just about got the wife talked into letting me get one soon.

Yes, the color of this lid is great. I am glad that I chose it.

I pondered possiblities: perusing personal proclivites promulgates prejudical preferences, perhaps piperdbh would knit me some hose?

    YES!

Were you able to find the right stuff, D?

This particular ball of yarn has been in my personal hoard for about two years. Made a cover for my dad's dome from the same color and liked it so much that I got another hank, just in case; it came in handy.

You're a hoss, sir, and your new 'do adds a certain additional air of fortitude, for certain. And in spite of how your first bonnet matched your eye color, I think I like this one better still. Seems like you just can't go wrong with a dark bonnet like that. It screams out "Anyone who gives me *****, shall do so to their chagrin!"

Also, since I've gotten some inquiries, these lids can be had here: http://giftshop.scottishtartans.org/rabby_bonnets.html

Yes, from a most amiable source. In fact, you know the source quite well.

    Ah, nice.

Those amiable sources are pretty awesome, aren't they?
