Well i guess that depends if the accent is new... Now if it was russian maybe that would be a different case... especially since I dont know russian

Piperdbh how do you listen to it? Through your computer? I also enjoy listening to radio shows from elsewhere to listen to an interesting accent.

I used to love listening to my old local radio station (Northern sound) on a Sunday night. It aired old story telling and music, twas a lovely way to end the weekend. My new local radio station has a Celtic hour on Sunday morning

I love the Beeb; particularly Radio 3 and Radio 4 but I listen for the content.

I had never thought that someone might listen for the accents but I suppose that I am used to hearing those. Thinking about it there is quite a wide variety of accents on it now whereas they all use to be RP. There is also quite a few Scots who don't sound Scottish!
