    Cameron Quilt

I'm new at posting pictures and I hope this works.

This is the Cameron black and red quilt that I made with Cameron Erracht green/orange stitching on the border.

This quilt will go into battle with me next month when we fight the 150th Anniversay Battle of shiloh, US Civil War.

That's really pretty. Is it cotton or wool?

    I hope you win.

It's cotton. Have to stick to period correct fabrics. I ride with the 7 Tennessee Volunteer Cavalry (CSA). We'll lose on the second day, but, whip them to a standstill on the first. They always pull out their secret weapon, the history book. One of these days we'll figure out how to beat them guys.

How about trading uniforms (and roles) for the second day?

Funny you should mention changing uniforms, we call that Galvanizing. We will be riding as the 11th Illinois Cavalry on the second day, so in affect, we do get to win. But, my family is all from N/E Alabama and I bleed gray--my heart and soul will always be gray. I just hope my Cameron ancestors don't see me in blue.
