The Mrs. has a Manx who could be Barnabas's brother (Say that out loud three times fast.) except he's much scruffier from fighting the neighbor cats.

Re: Tyger's New Ryan Ross Bonnet

How old is he? Theoretically, he actually could be Barnabus' brother, if the age is right and he has siblings that are unaccounted for.

She got him in '05 and he was about a year old then, I think. Did Barnabas ever live in Hickory, NC?

Ah HA! Yes, the Celtic Knot is one of my new designs, exectuted in my new style. When did you get it? They are at the Scottish Tartans Museum Gift Shop.

I liked the design so much that I made one for myself, and I switch it from 2.5 inch wide belt kilt wear to 1.5 inch casual wear:

The new technic takes a little more skill to marry the metals with solder instead of rivets, and results in a design that is a little less cluttered and a little more modern (maybe). This becomes a personal preference thing, and I like both styles.

The new technic was used to make Ryan's buckle:

I think Barnabus was born in '08, and probably someplace near Franklin... when A procured him, he wasn't much bigger than a stick of butter. Sounds like they are likely distant relations at best, but one never knows, from a Southern point of view!

Different litters, at the least... Barnabus has a white patch on his chest...don't suppose your feline does, too?

I have no idea what you're talking about.

Yes indeed! The new technique is very impressive.

I love both styles, though. It's great to have a little variety, so if you're going for that sleek, modern look, you're good to go; want an old-school vibe, you're good to go there, too.

Speaking of, I need to get my butt in gear and have a brown belt made for these buckles. I think both will look excelent with dark brown, but the Chi Rho, especially.
