Wow, it's been awhile!
I just noticed it's been almost a year and a half since I've posted here.
Lots of life changes has me rarely wearing a kilt these days, but I still like to strap one on once in awhile.
Good to see lots of new forum members, and lots of familiar old ones.

I tried to ask my inner curmudgeon before posting, but he sprayed me with the garden hose…
Yes, I have squirrels in my brain…

Yes sir, we're still in Manitoba.
We can't imagine living anywhere else now. We have the house and yard that we'd always wanted, I finally was able to build a workshop for my hotrod building, and I started my own business 3 years ago that's been doing fairly well. Life is good! The only downside is that my kilts have taken a back seat and rarely get worn these days.

Re: Wow, it's been awhile!
Wish I could visit ya... I'll be in Southern Alberta late March, early April, but not enough time to take a trip to Manitoba though. Although I did apply for a teaching position and Canadian Mennonite University, and they do have a campus out in your direction. But that job's probably a long-shot though.
Nonetheless, you should post some hot rod pix! I know the rabble would love to see 'em!

Re: Wow, it's been awhile!
I'll definitely be popping in more often than before, Dee.
JD...the Mennonite campus you mentioned, is that the one in Winnipeg?
It would be cool if you were able to make it out this way some day. We haven't been traveling at all since we've been here...too busy with other things.
As for the hotrod pics, here's a page I made showing my progress over the past year or so. I'm still a good year and a half away from having it back on the road.
