I just read an ad in the New Times for the 1st Annual Kilt Fest in Phoenix, Arizona. It appears to be be sponsored by Four Peaks Brewing Company. Saturday February 25th, 2012 from noon until 5pm at Cityscape, 1 E. Washington Street in Phoenix. Odd though, there is no contact information.

There will apparently be live entertainment, gourmet food trucks, etc. Anyone know how to find out more?

I love the no Budweiser part! In my worst alcoholism I never drank that swill...I'm amazed how many millions do and have no idea how delicious "real beer" is....

Anyhow - hope the kilties down there support the effort and have a Kilt Lifter for me. I've had more than my share already.

Thanks for the links. I have to agree with your assessment of "Bud". The only brew AB ever put out that approximated beer was Amber Bock (formerly Micholob Dark). But, I too was younger then.

I know that the Keltic Cowboys will be playing at the Tilted Kilt at Cityscape from noon - 2pm that day. The Sonoran Scotsmen clan will be there, with hopefully at least 10 kilted members. You'll be able to find us watching the band during that time, but after that who knows. We'll all probably walk around and eventually end up at Shamus McCafferys
