Future board upgrades
When the Board upgrades software, will there be an ignore thread button or option?
Thanks

For example, let's say that there where a thread (topic) entitled, "Penguin stalking while kilted... should I wear a Lovat Blue jacket", I detest penguins and do not what see the thread. There currently is no way to ignore ( or rather not see this thread) unlike "subscribe" to this thread as is currently found in the pull down in thread options.
I must make note that i do not detest penguins...
Thanks
Henry

Re: Future board upgrades
Um, sir, if you do not wish to read a thread based on its title then simply do not click to open it.
If you do not wish to read further after finding that the tread contains reference to stalking penguins while kilted, then stop reading it and do not open it again.
Can you please offer a suggestion on how would you know to put a thread on 'ignore' if you did not read it?

OK, fair enough... just wanted to see if there was a way... that way when one clicked "New Posts" those posts that may include the dreaded penguins would not come up...
Just a convenience, that's all.
Thanks for the answer back.

You've GOT to be kidding me.
Lovat Blue?! They're penguins, not harp seals.
Sheesh. Charcoal.

Staghorn? Charcoal? Lovat Blue?
Appropriate answers depend upon the type of penguin. There are 16 varieties of penguins, after all. Surely the Emperor and Chinstrap demand different treatments.

Oh dear , surely everyone knows that a lovat white tweed jacket, with brown walrus buttons, with your knife pleated clan tartan and WHITE hose are the only proper and correct attire for this occasion. Now sharpen up chaps, or, we will never get it right!
