The real question is "What to wear on your head?"
A white bonnet or pith helmet? An ivory-toned Dear Stalker? Perhaps a white and ivory houndstooth flat cap?

Sigh and sigh again.
I thought, I really thought that was so obvious that I did not mention head-wear. Silly me!
The ivory(mock ivory of course) toned deer stalker is the only thing that a well attired penguin stalker should wear, how else is one to protect ones ears? Only cads and inexperienced penguin stalkers wear the cap. Did you not know that 9 out of 10 penguins disapprove of flat caps when worn with the kilt?

Ah, I was unaware that the flat cap was so thoroughly looked down upon by penguins. Thank you for informing me of this. I can only assume my future penguin hunts will be more successful.

A person would indeed be height-challenged if a penguin were able to look down upon their flat cap. . .

Emperor Penguins are fairly tall, I mean as far as penguins go.

I would strongly advise against seal hide sporrans for such an event. I would also advise that you do not store kippered herring in your sporran, if you feel the urge to do so.
Have fun and throw far. In that order, too. - o1d_dude

--------and besides if one was to lie down, or, fall down a crevasse and the penguin didn't, or if your were at the bottom of a hill whilst the said penguin was at the top, it would certainly be looking down on one, should it so choose of course.

Well drat, that's a habit I'll have to break. Actually I figure any kind of herring would be unwise to keep in your sporran while on the hunt.
