Can anyone point me to XL tartan or bespoke ties?
Why are they all so short? I am 6'7", having trouble finding a Modern Davidson XLong tie.

Re: Can anyone point me to XL tartan or bespoke ties?
Are you looking to wear it with the kilt or with regular Saxon dress, I.e. P@nts and sport coat or suit? If the former you may not need XL ties as your belt buckle is a couple inches higher on your abdomen, or you may be wearing it tucked under a vest of some sort eith the tips bidder. If with Saxon wear then I agree with you that XL tie size would be needed, again unless you can wear it with a vest of some sort.
Most all wool tartan in the light weights for ties are woven by Ingles-Buchan but they do have a limited repertoire. Some 13 oz tartan can be used for ties but tend to have too large a sett size to look good as a tie. Some tartans are available as a silk weave, but these can be expensive and limited in repertoire and availability as well. If you can find your desired tartan in a light enough wool or silk tartan you might be able to locate a tailor who can manufacture a tie for you, although I doubt it will be an inexpensive or easy endeavor. You might even be able to find one here on the forun. Good luck and post your outcomes either way. I will be following this thread and your findings as I am in a similar situation being 6'5" myself.

I am unsure for bespoke tartan neck ties, however for other types of neck ties, I do know that Ben Silver offers this type of service. Perhaps they could do one in the tartan you are seeking as well? Not sure.

Best of luck mate,
P.S. - Ben Silver also offers bespoke lapel rosettes and they are rather smart!
