That post was simply a public pick-me-up for my friend, LT. He is suffering from a temporary but significant health crunch, and I wanted to acknowledge what I thought was one of the funniest posts I've seen him make. The humor in it is very narrow and requires an hour to kill and an intimate knowlegde of the wrestling culture in Iowa. Not really worth explaining; sorry for being off topic.
We welcome- no no- STRIVE for random conversation here! And anything that even gets close to martial arts is a good topic of interest, in my book.
I sure do hope that LT is on the mend soon, though, and it's a shame to hear that he's got a crunch going on. He has our very best, for sure.
I've thought about what mark might be able to do in the way of a cap badge, but we've never talked it over before.
Mark? Where you at???

Guys, I am trying to get some work done! Plus, good news: my Naval Bonze ships today!
Not too much:
This is just a rough drawing, a concept. The final product should have better lines.
PS: There is no such thing as "off topic" when we are on the topic of RR bonnets, and TF works. The OP says keep talking about what interests US, and don't worry what the ruffle says.

Reminds me somehow of British royalty (not a bad thing). You could also play around with the Rolls Royce style (samples).

I feel like a total narcissist for saying this, but that actually looks pretty cool.
You're crazy, Mark. Crazy like a fox. I like it!
Plus, if you stare at it just right, it kind of looks like an erupting volcano. Anyone else notice that?

Darlin'. How long do you think it would it take for the RR attorneys to climb my tree?
