I've only ever seen them in pictures... never on a person. Always sort of reminded me of a cheerleader outfit.

Have you actually seen one in the flash, Bubba?? If so, what was your impession? I guess I've been so conditioned to the traditional knife edge, the box style looks not quite right somehow.

I think box pleating is also quicker, so they used it in the military to get a large number of kilts made quicker.

Blu, I've seen pictures of them. They look ok, but I'm still partial to the knife pleats. I think some of the military kilts for some regiments are still box pleated by tradition.

I kinda like the idea of a center box pleat with knife pleats going toward the front in both directions from it. Nice symetry
