    I really like the Weathered Ulster Barb Tewksbury made for me. The kilt looks a lot better than I do:

    The Frugal Corner, New World Irish looks very close to the Heratage of Scotland, Heratage of Ireland PV that I ordered and is in the Royal Mail now.
    Will be a close call for it to get here on time. It's just drop dead georgous to my eyes.
    UPDATE I looked again, this one has double orange stripes among other differences.

    Stillwater HW Saffron Shadow tartan wool
    It's like me, a bit more Irish than Scottish.

    Still working on the cotton cushion compression hose - like the model T Ford any color you want as long as it's black.
    Only other color I have found is white. Maybe a bit of dyeing ?
    And "add a cuff" per the other current string?
