Very nice! I admire that the bag is plain and understated, letting the cantle do all the talking. It's a good aesthetic balance for a daywear sporran. I like!

As is typical of your work, nicely done Harold!

I like the split tassel on the front of the square canteled version, am I correct in assuming that the bag is missing a tassel on one side?

Yes it is missing a tassel. I have a huge collection of images of different sporrans and this one is one of my favorites.

Come to think of it I'm starting to get a rather large collection of actual sporrans. LOL!
