Proudly Duncan [maternal], MacDonald and MacDaniel [paternal].
Not to be derisive of one's inspiration or art but...no, that's ugly. And he sounds like a crazy person.
I'm very impressed by the craft- his technique is wonderful looking. I believe the end result has missed it's mark though, as it resembles a purse far more than it does a sporran. ith:
Yeah, it looks a lot like one of my granmothers beaded purses from the 30's.

When this guy says that he's related to Francz (sp?) Klein, does he mean Franz Klein the abstract painter....? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Franz_Kline ....or is there another Franz/Francz Klein? Nice purse..... Best AA
ANOTHER KILTED LEBOWSKI AND...HEY, CAREFUL, MAN, THERE'S A BEVERAGE HERE!
To his credit, the other "Not a sporran!" threads have been people buying purses and selling them as sporrans. This was at least designed to be an alternative style sporran, so it's no less of a sporran than the Alt.Kilt canvas bag. And as far as non-traditional sporran designs go, it is pretty neat. As for the divine insight... Jury is still out on that.
