My pleasure, sir! And I do hope you'll take that advice, as you and I must certainly have different conceptions of what "without any problems" means.
I know you said you had knowledge of UK secondary school history, but seeing that each country have a number of different boards, I find it hard to believe you are aware of all the curriculum.
Correction- If you look back, you'll find that I said that I have knowledge of "secondary school History"... indeed, I have a Master's degree in Secondary Social Studies Education... I never attached a national origin to it, nor did I mention curriculum specifically. I was refering to what I've personally found to be a nearly universal issue in the History community. An international one.
So seeing you have no idea what I learned at school, I suggest you consider this before ridiculing our education system.
Please see above. I did not ridicule anyone's educational system, and even if I had wanted to, I would have been unable to ridicule yours sepcifically, as I do not know where you were educated.
I suggest that you get your facts straight, before you ridicule me.
I consider this matter closed now, and I hope that you do, as well. I would like to rejoin this conversation of history vs. Hollywood and not have to worry about side conversations.
...speaking of which, I have to admit that I agree with Ern. Braveheart always bugs me, due to the complete disregard for historical accuracy, but when I'm able to set that aside, it really is a highly entertaining and well shot, scored, etc... film.
