    Irish Whiskey?

There are many threads herein where we oft sing the praises of our favorite dram of Scotch Whisky But in honor of the Old Saint himself, do you have a favorite Irish Whiskey?

I have found Bushmills Black Label to be very satisfying and I will raise a tumbler tomorrow.

Connemarra is magnificent, and Jameson's is often suitable! A blessed St. Pat's to all!

Tullamore Dew is a very inexpensive but quite tasty whiskey.

Agreed, I like Tullamore quite a bit. Jamesons is always a good standard.

Well I am quite fond of Redbreast 12 year, a wonderful dram!

Ive always enjoyed Kilbeggan when I can find it. But Jameson comes a very close second.

Tried some Jameson's "Gold Reserve" the other night that was to die for! I'm on the hunt through local liquor stores trying to find a bottle. Otherwise, I prefer Bushmills (especially "Black Bush") and Kilbeggan....

My favorite Irish is a "Black Nail" -- half Bushmills 10yr Single malt and half Irish Mist -- but quite frankly, single malt Scotches have spoilt me.

    Re: Irish Whiskey?

I'm a malt-head, Port Charlotte or Laphroaig cask strength, but when I share with others I pour a dram of Knappogue, Irish single malt. A wee bit "softer".
