    That is amazing. I look at it on the Register of Tartans website and it looks awful but seeing a photo of the actual tartan cloth there from Matt it is just beautiful. I wonder at how many of the registry images I have considered to be good enough only for lawn chair webbing when, in fact, they are really beautiful as this one is. I wish the Registry images could be made more realistic.

    That is a great looking tartan. If only..., but I think the Michigan State tartan would only be slightly higher on my list of next kilts.

    There is only 1 MSU kilt. I own it. Had to get permissions from the copywriters and University President to have it woven. I would imagine the previous comment was actually about the State of Michigan Tartan.

    The Michigan Up North tartan is the official State of Michigan tartan. It received approval from the state in 2010.
