A friend's report

Hell-o all,

This morning a friend returned from a tandem bike gathering with his wife in Santa Fe, New Mexico when he told me that he kept seeing a guy in a kilt in the plaza. I asked him if he had a chance to talk to him and he said no.

What I want to know is if it was anyone of you walking around Santa Fe?

I am glad to hear these kind of reports especially from non kilt wearers.

Wasn't me, sorry, but it is good to here of kilt wearers, I hope the guy in question has internet access and can join us here!

Wasn't me either. However, some stranger approached me and asked if I knew a certain bouncer at a certain bar. Evidently, he also wears a kilt, but I've never seen him. And I thought Bozeman was a small enough place that I'd surely know everyone who wears a kilt here.

I bet our town is even smaller and yet there's been a guy here who wears a kilt all the time and I didn't know it until recently.

Wasn't me either, however I wish I were in Santa Fe. Last weekend I was in the taylor's shop to get a dress coat altered. I was in my USAKilt and a guy came in and I heard, "I like that, I'd wear it!" We talked for a while and among the comments were the usual about 'them being made of brass' and a few other things. I told him that it was great in summer and there were other benifits. My wife was with me so I couldn't go into 'other good things' but I almost made a convert. One at a time...
