I may be mistaken but I believe the release date will coincide with 100 anniversary celebations of The Canadian Scottish Regiment(October 2012).

Looks like a very interesting film to me. While no evidence any of my ancestors were pipers, two ancestors from Wick served in WWI and died: my great-grandfather's brother (2nd Rhodesia Regiment, South Africa) and my first cousin twice removed (Royal Engineers "N" Special Company, France).
