Thanks for the pics and the ideas. Being not particularly tall and stocky I need all the ideas that I can get. Its great to see men with a collection of kilts.

Hi Xcop,
If it's a collection of kilts you want to see, take a look at my Photo Album (link below). There you'll see photos of most of my 36 kilts - soon to be 38 - although I still have to post images of the latest three to arrive!

Wow, I thought that was a picture of Brad Pitt from the movie Troy
Now you really ARE a kilted warrior, it looks fantastic!

That is one boss kilt, Phil. I've seen Roberts work up close and can vouch for the quality of his workmanship. He is a true craftsman.

Phil,
You look, well how do I say it, GREAT!!!!! To take what Graham said one step further, I can tell where Brad Pitt got his inspiration.

They weigh between 2.5kg- 3kg. depending on your size. The kilts are made from 2.5-3.0 oz leather. The green is the heaviest. The kilt on average uses 5 meters of leather. It rests on the hips so you don't notice the weight much.

Yo Phil,
Now that you've had the kilt for a while, how's it holding-up?
How are the pleats laying with time and cleaning?
Hows the leather itself doing in the pleats and condition?
PLEASE (like I need to ask) be brutally honest with the responses!
