Friday the 13th
One month from today -- yes, it'll be Friday the 13th of April -- I'll be in the Atlanta area. Anyone up for a kilted get-together?
The next two days -- Saturday and Sunday, April 14 and 15 -- I'll be at the Georgia Renaissance Festival, so perhaps if I don't see you Friday, I might see some of you there ... ?

Re: Friday the 13th
Hey hey- Sounds like an interesting prospect to me!
We need to get some other folks on board, here.
Turp and Ben and Jim, to name a few? The usual suspects?

Yep -- my wife and I already have our tickets and our hotel reservations. I'd be glad to meet up somewhere on April 14.

And it would be great to see you there.
My wife and I have been meaning to go for years, and a couple of years ago even had tickets and hotel reservations, and then decided we couldn't afford the trip. But since we may end up having to move in the next year or so, and that may mean leaving the South, we decided to go for it.
It's a permanent site, which means there are themed stuctures and grounds, unlike Florida faires. Because of hurricane codes in Florida, our faires are tents and temporary structures. I like our faires, particularly the Bay Area Renaissance Festival (widely known by its unfortunately acronym, BARF), but a permanent site is a nice change.

I have a real estate closing on the 13th but as it approaches I'll check back in here. Lots of work to move after being in the same spot for 14 years. Even a local move.
