Dumfries Kilted Pub Crawl - 23rd March 2012

Xmarkers English Bloke (from England), John Carrick (from Ireland) and Porrick (from Norway) were all in town for a Ferintosh Burns Supper weekend. I did not participate in this Burns Supper Weekend as it clashed with Hawick Reivers Festival but I did manage to go along for the Friday evening kilted pub crawl.
Here are just a few pictures from the evening, no doubt others will post lots more. First pic shows a few of us about to set off from Ferintosh Guest House.
Left to right my partner Gabrielle; me; Pour1Malt; Porrick; EnglishBloke; Mrs. EnglishBloke; and John Carrick.

Crossing Queensberry Square on our way to 6pm meal at Cavens.

Once fed, we visited Robert Burns statue for the traditional photocall. Here's a shot of the lassies.

Finally a Sandwich supper in The Waverley

All too soon it was time to bid goodnight and head for home.

Great photos Alex, and what happy memories they brought back. Sadly it's been several years now since I was part of that gathering but it is obvious that the spirit of the Ferintosh Burns weekends continues to go from strength to strength. My Best Wishes to the attendees ........ and to the wonderful hosts, Emma and Robertson.

    Take care,
    Ham.
