2 quick things

1. When I log in, I get a 'redirect error' message. I can go to the forums section, but it didn't automatically redirect me there

2. Is there any way to put the breadcrumb trail at the bottom at the bottom AND top of each topic's page? If it's a long page with lots of pictures, I have to scroll all the way back to the top to go to click on the breadcrumb trail.

When you're on a topic page and hit 'forum' in the breadcrumb trail, it takes you to the homepage, NOT the main forum page.

In case you can't tell, I use the breadcrumb trail often.

Rocky,
To your second point - At the bottom of every page is a "Quick Navigation" drop down menu. This is a new feature to the ver. of vB. If you click on it you can go to any other forum section with a single click. I was hoping that this would be easier than breadcrumbs.

Just to the right of the quick navigation drop down is a "top" button, This will take you back to the top of the page without scrolling.

I'll look into your first point. Probably just a re-direct error.

I also get a bad URL/redirection error on login.

Breadcrumb trail? Breadcrumb trail? Just what is this bredcrumb trail? I quite accept that URL'S etc are well beyond my technical knowhow, but breadcrumbs are, as far as I know, the things that full under my computer keys when I am posting and eating toast at the same time! Yes and I have told myself dozens of times not to do that!

Jock,

Breadcrumb trails on a forum are a quick way of knowing where you currently are within the forum.
If you will look up near the top of this page, just under the blue navigation bar and above advertisers you will see a line of text.
Forum > Forum Issues > Tech Questions > 2 Quick Things
This is the breadcrumb trail. This trail tells you that you are on the Forum, in the Forum Issues section, the Tech Questions sub-section, in the 2 Quick Questions thread.

If you click anywhere on the trail you will go back to that part of the forum. It's a trail back along the path from where you are now, hence the name breadcrumb trail.
