I haven't figured out these new forum changes...

    Oh, to be in England
    Now that April's there,
    And whoever wakes in England
    Sees, some morning, unaware,
That the lowest boughs and the brushwood sheaf
Round the elm-tree bole are in tiny leaf,
While the chaffinch sings on the orchard bough
    In England - now!

And after April, when May follows,
And the whitethroat builds, and all the swallows
Hark! where my blossomed pear-tree in the hedge
Leans to the field and scatters on the clover
Blossoms and dewdrops - at the bent spray's edge

That's the wise thrush; he sings each song twice over,
Lest you should think he never could recapture
    The first fine careless rapture!

And though the fields look rough with hoary dew,
All will be gay when noontide wakes anew
The buttercups, the little children's dower, -
Far brighter than this gaudy melon-flower!

    Robert Browning (1812-1889)

Yes it was nippy today and raining on a mile walk I did. I was telling myself to review my options for warm weather rain gear and cold weather rain gear!

Aren't some wooly jumpers soft and moisture proof?

Thanks mate! So which kilt thing are you brave enough to take me to? (; I'm thinking big and beefy like a Highland games. Do they wear underwear? If they do I'm not going. I feel that isn't authentic! (:

Keep forgetting to tell you that. I brought you my brown sporran too.

Not sure about the Burns stuff cause he was good writer but also a jerk. I might get past the haggis but that lassies stuff gags me. Would I be able to write a lassy reply?
I am sure we could arrange for you to do the Reply for the Lassies at Dumfries next year and of course you would be free to script it yourself.

Welcome to England! And 'North and East' still leaves a LOT of country...
So we now have a 'secret' plaid wearer.
