Kinda weird still. For some reason when I enter the site through www.xmarksthescot.com it brings up the Forum page but to the right looks as if I am not logged in. I should auto login but it appears as if it has not happened. However, without logging in again, if I click the "What's New" button it brings it up with me logged in. Thereafter it seems to work fine with one exception I have noticed so far. When I go to post a reply, after typing in the response I click the "post response now" and get a pop-up that asks me if I want to navigate away from the current page, and have to click OK in order for the response to post and things to return back to normal again.

Another minor issue also comes up when you write a long post, in that after typing in the box several lines, if you have to go back up to edit something before posting, it is a bit troublesome to get back down to the end to continue typing as the box seems to continually want to go back up to the start of the response rather than the end. Actually this is the first post that it has not done that in the last couple days.

FM, can you send me a screen shot? Or are you on Skype, and I can call you and do a screen sharing session?

Seems no longer necessary as logging on today several times and I now go directly to the "Forum" main page with fully logged on info and avatar in place. Also, last post or two have NOT had the problem with the "do you want to leave this web page" notification before it would allow my post to go through. Have not written any long posts today so will keep an eye on that little gremlin over the next few days. Whatever you have been doing has so far debugged my issues quite well I think.

Well done. Having been through several major medical process software and hardware upgrades I am quite aware of just how far from perfect things are when first started up, and how immense a task it is delineating major from minor problems, then tracking down the specifics and applying patches. Also how sometimes the users with the problems may not be able to comprehennsibly describe their problems in terms that Mr Fixit on your end needs to get things squared away. All things considered I think the transition went rather well. Good job. Take two "pats on the back" out of petty cash.

Okay, I may have to recall those two pats on the back as the problem with the long posts is still here, with this post now demonstrating the problem again. Seems to be whenever I roll the mouse cursor out of the reply type in box that it rolls back up to either the top or center of the whole message instead of staying at the end where I am/was typing. More work for the weary, I am afraid. Hope my description is helpful. And I do not know how to screenshot save, nor do I have skype capability. Sorry.

Ok, just trying to see if it is something to do with the number of lines in the post. Will try a post that takes a long time next.

Note to self, be slower to type and maybe you will see this issue!

JF, are you using quick reply?

And for a screen shot, just hit the alt key and the "Prt Scr" button on your keyboard, usually on the upper right of the keyboard. Then paste it into a Word document and email to me.

Started this reply and now it has been 5 minutes, so let's see what happens

I found a work around for the editor issues I was having. In my general settings, I switched to the simple text box from the middle setting, and it's easier to work with now.
I had tried disabling browser Java script which completely cleared up the problem and made it work like it did in the old forum, but that disables a lot of the forum controls like "marke forums read." I did this because I remember Mike1 telling Riverkilt his computer was blocking Java script a time back, and I wanted to see what would happen.

I realize this might not be too related to other members problems, but I thought I would report it, just in case.
