I was clicking the back button to get out of this tread and I got the pop-up. When I clicked the back button, the page had not fully loaded. I clicked 'stay on page' and then clicked the back button again and got no pop-up. It would seem that it is either the browser's or the site's way of ensuring that you are not disrupting anything.
(I am using Firefox 11.0)

I get the "are you sure you want to leave this page?" popup the first time I post during each visit/session.

To all experiencing this problem, I am unable to re-create it on a variety of PC's, O/S's here. Would one of you be willing to join me in a screen sharing session so I can see it first hand? We can either do it through Windows remote support, or using Skype screen sharing. If you would be willing to do so, please PM me with an email or Skype account where I can contact you, and some possible times.

Got the message today while replying to another post. Will try to recreate what I was doing there to see if I get the error message here.

OK, the test worked and I got the error message. Here's what I did:
Using Internet Explorer 9
- started typing text in the Quick Reply box
- highlighted some text for a Cut-and-Paste operation
- changed my mind about the cut-and-paste
- deleted the last few words of my response
- click "Post Quick Reply" button
- received the "Leave Page" "Stay on Page" error
- chose "Stay on this Page"
- returned to the editor
- without doing anything else, clicked the "Post Quick Reply" button again
- received the Leave-Stay error again
- chose "Leave this Page" this time
- my reply was posted
p.s. In my response above, I actually typed this sequence of events after I returned to the text editor, but when I hit "Leave this Page" the added text did not post. Hence, this additional post to tell you what I did.

I'm getting this annoying pop up all the time, too (usually when I want to go back to a page that I was previously viewing)!
