Harpenden Highland Gathering 15 july 2012
Are any xmarkers intending to visit the Harpenden Highland Gathering in July if so it would be good to arrange a meet up. If anyone has previously visited the gathering and could suggest a good meeting place then please let us know as it would be good if we could arrange an Xmarks gathering.
Friends stay in touch on FB simon Taylor-dando
Best regards

Chas has set up an information tent at the Harpenden Gathering in 2010 and 2011 which made a good meeting point. I believe he is planning to do the same again this year.

I have been attending Harpenden for years, I am usually up the hill at the Scottish Piping Society of London comp where I'm normally busy, but I did drop by last year and introduced myself to Chas at his stall. I will do so again this year.

We're coming this year, barring any outside intervention.
We'll all be kilted - the wife finally got around to making a kilt for our little one from a kilt-skirt she bought that was VERY poor quality and practically fell apsrt the first time she wore it...

I was there last year and enjoyed meeting several xmarkers. Unfortunately I'll be in the USA this time lecturing and we'll also be with our daughter, who is expecting her first child then. I hope the weather is good for all of you.

I'll be there, throwing in the Heavy Events - would be great to see some X-Markers while I'm down south!
