I agree with Casey that Williiam should be kilted, for he too will become king.

I wonder if we will ever see William in a kilt. He seems to blame the weather when he decides against wearing one. Only time will tell.

Our Prince William stated, more than once, that "you'll never catch me wearing the kilt". I am sure he will - one day - but he must do so in his own good time.

It's probably his bit of rebellion against his daddy. Sons tend to be that way til they get near 30.

Maybe William needs to be introduced to this site?

Is he Scottish? Because if he's not there's no reason that he should be required to wear one... though its always nice to see people wearing them.

As the future king of England, William will also be a representative for all of the UK.

It is my humble opinion, that Chuck indeed wears whatever is put out for him that morning. If he is the commander or whatever of the Black Watch, great, but there were more Scottish regiments and Scots that took part in D-Day and to wear Black Watch could alienate them.... He is a Stewart after all, so he can wear that tartan any day, anywhere.
Also, I think that it is this type of thing that puts some people off wearing kits. Wear what you like. I wear a Maple Leaf Bear Kilt to everything. I love Canada, and visit as often as possible, live within a two and a half hour drive, but I'm not Canadian.... big deal, it's a beautiful tartan.

Tobie,
You will have to excuse us residents of the British Commonwealth while we take the mickey out of Prince Chuckie.
I think we would, normally, all agree that he could wear what he wants, but, it's Chuckles!!!!???!!!???

you have to worry more about the ears and jhouls lifting rather than the kilt with ole Chuck there. Oh how we love to take the mickey out of him.
