It is my humble opinion, that Chuck indeed wears whatever is put out for him that morning. If he is the commander or whatever of the Black Watch, great, but there were more Scottish regiments and Scots that took part in D-Day and to wear Black Watch could alienate them.... He is a Stewart after all, so he can wear that tartan any day, anywhere.

Also, I think that it is this type of thing that puts some people off wearing kits. Wear what you like. I wear a Maple Leaf Bear Kilt to everything. I love Canada, and visit as often as possible, live within a two and a half hour drive, but I'm not Canadian.... big deal, it's a beautiful tartan.
