Quick auto logout?
When composing a post, unless I am very quick, the forum logs me out before I can get the post completed. I have a work-around by copying the text of my post, logging back in and going through the posting process again, this time pasting the text I have copied. Not terribly convenient, but it works.

This happens to me on two other sites I haunt also. I suspect the edit is done locally on my computer and the site sees inactivity and times out.
I do what you do when writing a long winded post.

Pants is only a present tense verb here. I once panted, but it's all cool now.

If you use "Go Advanced" to compose and preview your posts before submitting. If you've been logged out, it auto prompts you to log back inwith the username / password screen before taking you back to the preview. That said, the site does seem to throw you out offy quick!

Yeah, that is helpful to know. So it would transpire it frequently takes more than 15 minutes for me to put together the rambling drivel I post on here. There's a message there somewhere John.

Edits
John,
When what I thought was a quicky turns long, I am in the habit of posting about every ten minutes and continuing as edits to it. I have trouble thinking and typing at the same time, so it's a good idea to ignore my posts until 10 minutes after the last edit or you will see just how bad my half completed, half baked thoughts are - I don't proof my posts until the end under the stop watch. I didn't catch a spelling error from my last post till this morning as what I said was too fresh in my mind last night.
Cheers Chuck
