The narrow aprons on the Utilikilts keep me modest for cycling. I sit on the back pleats - keeps 'em outta de spokes. And the aprons stay plastered to the seat post in front. Depending on your padding (yours and the seat -
) and mileage intended, the padded shorts are up to you. I took the mesh liners out of two pair the loose type bike shorts and turned them into padded briefs for anything longer than a couple of miles.
Chaffing is non existant because all stays dry.
