We missed it last year, but might be there this year. It's one of the few games that still offer longbow competition.

Stephanie and I really need to venture down and attend these games - I still have so many members of the rabble to meet for a nice chat about all things Scottish! We will be in St. Louis around that time for the Missouri Tartan Day festivities, which is always well done there.
Cheers,

One more day!
I hope the weather is good this year. The storms last year cost them dearly. There will be a slew of pipers -- 23 bands are scheduled to compete.

I'm hoping for good weather too. Small chance of rain it looks, but don't think it will be the monsoon we had last year.

The trailer is all hooked up, food and clothes (kilts that is) loaded, some fine drinks too. So what if there might be a little rain, it will just be a "fine soft day". Look forward to seeing old friends again and some new. And those coos they have are really neat too.

Rain won't stop me. I might bring my poncho again, it came in handy last year. Looked like kilted-long haired Clint Eastwood though. lol

Eh, it's only 30% chance and a high of 59 on Sunday. I'll be there. Wife and I will hit Friday night, too, for the Calling. Unfortunately we'll miss Saturday.

We'll be up there on Saturday afternoon and possibly for a bit on Sunday after church.
