    My eldest was invested into Scouts in his kilt and several of the boys wanted to know why he was wearing a skirt.

    One girl turned around quickly and said, rather loudly, "It's not a skirt! Its a KILT you idiots!".
    There followed a 5 minute discussion about kilts and our heritage.
