A customer came by for a fitting yesterday. His wife came with him, "to make sure I buy the right thing."
She didn't understand why he didn't want to wear pants and made comments that led me to presume she wasn't thrilled with the idea of him in a kilt.
By the time she left, after I'd told her I was so busy making kilts for guys to wear on an everyday basis, just because they want to, she was excited about the idea.
She was gleefully helping pick out tartans, (MacDonald), sporran and belt colour, (brown), etc.
It was a 180 degree turnaround.
She made a comment that went something like, You men are so lucky. All you have to do is put on a kilt and your legs look great!"
I love to watch opinions change. I think I changed her mind with a confident attitude.
