How can I change my username?

I want to change my username because "wo.sc" is somewhat technical. I did not find a hint how to do so. Changing the profile does not include this option. I don't want to lose the connections between my username an my existing postings. Create a new account is not clever in this context.

By the way, suggestions for a new username are welcome.

Wolfgang is the way to go. I didn't use my real name because I figured Joe is a pretty common name and I wouldn't be the only Joe on the forum. With a name like Wolfgang it is less likely that there will be a bunch of other Wolfgangs here.

In Germany "Wolfgang" is a common name of men on my age. Using Wolfgang as a username would be unfair for other Wolfgangs who want to join in this forum.

As far as I know, the meaning of the name "Wolfgang" is "Wolfsgänger" resp. "Krieger in Tierverkleidung", * translated in english it is similarly to "warrior in wolf fairing".

I don't like my name to belittle. Therefore Wolfie or Wolfy suites me not. What about "thistle"?

Creating a new profile/account is the last option. I want to keep the connections between my new unsername and my old posts.
