Got my order in before the time limit expired. Now for the Jones.
I didn't order my contest wish kilt. I ordered what I could use for my part time summer job uniform at our local concert venue.
Trading in my khaki shorts for a khaki kilt.

I think she may still be working on the model kilts. There was a posting on the Facebook page about the last of the fabric being purchased for them in March or April.

I have luckily been cursed to be so busy that I can't see straight these days. I have a ton of orders on the books and those have to come before the model kilts as much as I want to be building those. I *think* I have managed to hire some skilled sewing help to do some pleating for me in order to speed up my time so I can get to other new projects.... it is hard to get the right person for the job.

I know that people want to see the new work and the models want their free kilts but I am working as fast as a craftsman can - I won't let my quality slide. My hopeful answer is that June will let me get right back up to speed - and hopefully a little ahead of the game with new stitching help.

I have a few of Jeanie's kilts, and am waiting on one now. What I can tell you that the wait is worth it. Each of my AltKilts is unique and made to order. I am happy that business is so successful for her of late, just sorry she is working night and day to keep up.
