    A very interesting photo of two lads



    a fellow with a very full plaid



    Abroath 1906. The fact that the piper lacks collar badges, and is wearing a cap badge that looks like a clan badge, gives him a civilian look to me; yet he is wearing medals.

    I wonder what this guy won all those medals for! An early appearance of a lace jabot and cuffs



    Just look at the great care this gent took in his dress! The jacket fits perfectly and he has been very precise about his plaid and hose. Note the patterned tops to the hose, something usually not seen back then.

    Worthy of note is that the jabot is being worn in a manner "frowned upon" by so many XMTSers: with an open doublet and low, evening waistcoat.
