Royal Blue hose, anyone make them?
I've tried Lovat Blue, Navy Blue, and Ancient Blue hose with my kilts and I've got the notion that Royal Blue hose would look better than any of those.
I've Googled and the only Royal Blue hose I can find have that suspicious Pakistani/Indian look about them.
I had a lovely pair of hose back in the 80's that are pretty much what I'm after but those wore out long ago!
Anyone know where nice Royal Blue kilt hose can be had? Thanks!!
These hose on Ebay are interesting. In the photo they appear to be a strong blue-violet. I wonder what colour they are in person

These are called "Pacific Blue" and once again I wonder what the actual shade is.

Wow, thanks for the link Sandy! I especially like how the price includes carriage to the USA (and anywhere else for that matter!). I wonder if this is where Prince Charles gets his splenid, chequerboard hose?
Cheers,

I wonder if the, snappily named, KH4 would answer? http://www.harristweedandknitwear.co...seandSocks.htm
I have a pair of the brown and can attest that they are beautifully made hand knit hose... and are under-priced in my opinion (so I am buying up while I can!). If you look at the wool page on their website you will see that they have several colours of blue and it might be work emailing to ask if they can have some knit up for you. Both Deenie and Catherine are very friendly and efficient.

Over $100 for a pair of plain kilt hose is a bit steep for me, sorry to say.

There's also Almost Unwearoutable. Around $100 a pair to include shipping to the US.
