Very nice indeed.
Im still amazed by the dramatic difference you can have depending on which stripe you pick. 1 tartan several looks.

It doesn't get better than that! Absolutely beautiful tartan and kilts.
Somebody ought to.

Matt:
I wore my box pleat (to red stripe) to an event last week and got lots of positive feedback.
Everyone thought the tartan was amazing.

Matt: Beautiful work! My favorite is the first - pleated to the red stripe. What a cornucopia of color. I won't be able to get that tartan out of my mind.

I changed my signature. The old one was too ridiculous.

Very smart, Matthew, excellent work. I have to join the consensus and say that pleating to the red stripe makes for a very vibrant kilt.

The kilt arrived today, and I'm just overwhelmed. Matt's impeccable artistry in its making is, perhaps sadly, not remotely surprising to me by now. Honestly, I wanted it more for the history-relevant significance. (And kudos again to Peter MacDonald for all his work in the resurrection of the tartan!) But I have to say that even Matt's photos did not prepare me for how beautiful this fabric is. It's just incredibly lovely. Pics, hopefully, this weekend.
EDIT: In the meantime, here's a shot of the apron showing the sett pattern:

Dale: Stunning tartan. Congratulations on your acquisition. Can't wait to see the pics, especially if they're in an outdoor setting - the ones for which you are justifiably famous.
