Chicago Scottish Fest/Highland Games

Chicago Rabble,
Anyone planning on attending the festivities on Friday, June 15th? I have another commitment on the 16th, so I plan on going the 15th to get my "fix".

Anyone else?

I certainly wish that they had camping like they do at some of the Games out East...Itasca is a ways away from where I'm at. I'd make it both days if I could but it looks like I'll just be there for Saturday....McFarkus tells me that Friday nights totally rock, though...

If I can find a way, I'll try to make it both days....but I can't promise.

I'm planning to come over on Friday afternoon and probably stay until Sunday afternoon. Already have a hotel reservation. My wife is coming also.

Good news/Bad news

The bad news is that my summer class has been canceled. I was really looking forward to it.

The good news is that I am now free to attend Saturday of the games!

Planning on being there both days.

The event received 3 full pages in the local burb newspaper, this week. One of the major chairs is a local, tho many suburbs are mentioned as chairs; interesting tho; not Chicago. Huh?

Anyone know which vendors will be there?

I plan to be there both days. Probably late afternoon or early evening on Friday and early morning until mid-afternoon on Saturday (I need my nap).
