We had a couple orders for accessories being delivered to individuals whose shipping address was in CA and had "Pixar" as the company name. Now it makes sense.

For such and event you should ask the organizers what they would like.

If it's the same event as I'm making a kilt for, it was described to me as "Highland cocktail, interesting rather than boring.......!"

Barb, do you make a highland cocktail out of whisky? If so, I could get on board with that!

As for being stinky, and not being a caricature, that means I should go straight from work, right?

I just meant that you probably don't want to show up in a tiny sailboat, your head grossly out of proportion, holding a clarinet and a caber, a cartoon sparkle on the less-hirsute part of your noggin, and a bubble containing the word "Ahoy!" floating above you. Damn caricatures.

The more I read over this thread and see it pop up, the more I just want to be at this party! I am super jealous Alan, I can't imagine it really matters what you wear...as long as you enjoy yourself. I really hope they let you take pics that you can share with us.

Sounds like a fun event! I'm a big fan of whisky cocktails and often make Manhattan's at home but apparently there are a ton of other one's for me to try that I wasn't even aware of:

As for what to wear, I think my first choice would be dress according to the theme. Jamie suggested asking the organizers what they want you to wear but it sounds to me like they've already told you. You've been asked to bring Highland athletic implements to Pixar's Brave party, so basically dress like the characters do in the movie when they're throwing (as per the trailer).

Second choice would be kilted Lebowski, straight from work Definitely skip the Tweedy Gentleman look for this one

I was thinking it would be funny if a whole bunch of kilted folks showed up outside the party wanting to get in, then I realized, that wouldn't be called funny. That'd be called a siege!

Lol. I could be easily convinced to be a part of such activities!
