I agree--very sharp. The height of the kilt hose is spot-on perfect--elongating the legs. And I agree with his analysis that the shorter jacket/waistcoat raises the visual center of balance, making for a taller appearance. The horsehair sporran works similar to tashes, though, I think. It creates a lower horizontal, which suggests shorter height--regardless of actual height. It might be a good option for a very tall person to make them appear more average. 5'10/155# very trim, quite tall. Some folks have all the luck.
