Greetings from Maine
Hello from Maine.
I ordered one of the 5.11 TDK's (I'm a cop and regularly wear other 5.11 gear) admittedly as a bit of a joke but have since developed a real interest in kilts in general. After doing some reading and checking out the forum here I pulled the trigger the other day and ordered a SWK "standard" in the Black Watch tartan. I'm eagerly awaiting it's arrival later this week. Once I'm accustomed to having the "breeze between my knees" I'll probably consider a more traditional kilt, perhaps in the Law Enforcement Memorial Tartan.
This is a great and very informative forum you've got here. I was quickly able to find the answers to all of my newbie questions (although I'll likely have a few more when I first assemble my kit).
