Actually I don't think anyone makes EXACTLY those sporrans today... every one has some nice old touch you don't see nowadays, for example a number of the cantles have three knobs whereas modern Evening Dress cantles nearly always have only one.

And the sporran at top looks very much like a style still made, but the cones for the tassels are shaped like thistles.
I doubt you'll see too many ocelot fur sporrans for sale these days.

I was careful to say worn, not made!! as I'd like to hope that many of them have become prized family heirlooms!

And thanks so much JSFMACLJR for posting those photos of your lovely sporran!

It looks identical to the ones shown in those 1930s catalogues, doesn't it?

Let me know if you want to sell it

Or perhaps Artificer can make a reproduction ... I would be very interested!
I certainly could, if you're interested. To be honest, the hardest part of remaking some of these is getting GOOD pigskin. So much of it is made into lining or suede today.

    Jock,

I have a 'fishing' sporran! It is whatever sporran I'm wearing when I take out the old Horrocks Ibbotson Governor with a few hand tied Adams and Hendricksons

I trust that you are using a silk line too?

    Do you think not?

Despite it's now probably illegal status, it is undeniably a very handsome example of the sporran maker's art isn't it? And only £8.40... for solid silver... Nice!
