NW sunshine and lack of fund raising

The 2004 Paws a Thon was pretty much a bust. Rained off and on and we were in the back end of a BIG park area. But I loved spending the day with dogs and their wonderful and caring owners. I'd rather spend all day with dogs and responsible owners than any one else (kilted bretheren excepted, of course.)
Learned a lot of what works and what does not.
I was annoncer and I am the Chairman. TO stand out I wore the UK olive mocker. Many nice comments on the Kilt.
Next year will be better. Already working on a better, more accesible venue.

But, it seems that not much bothers you in a kilt. I am Chair and was a trouble shooter at the event. Despite all the little things that went weird, I never lost my cool. Must be a different mind set when you are kilted.

    Peace
    Chris

Chris that is so true waht you say about nothing bothering you in a kilt, not that many guys have enough self confidence in wearing a kilt, even if I am a little down when the kilt comes on, I am a different man.

Sorry that the weather did not cooperate. But like you said their is always next year. Keep up the good work.

There is a pic of my baby with me at the Tunnel Hill Celtic fest in my pic gallery. I used to tell the people where I used to work that I loved my dog more than any of them...

My dog is with me in almost every picture in my gallery. Look at that... he is my avatar also.

Me ex-girlfriend's mother once asked me, "If you and my daughter and your dog were all in a boat and the boat tipped over, and you could only save one of them, which one would you save?"
I responded "Well... your daughter knows how to swim."

As for nothing getting to you in a kilt... only one thing gets to me when I am wearing a kilt... and that is people calling it a skirt.

Cold wet puppy noses.... yup been there, done that. Gotta love the old German Sheperd snout...Less intimidating than the ol' rottweiler snout, but I love them all. Saw a brown teiled weasle as we were leaving the park grounds. Kinda cute and had never seen a weasle in the wild. NO I am not making any sexual comment! LMKO
I need help making my avatar.
I have one of the best pictures of my Golden Retriever, Puppette and want it to be my avatar. But I can't shrink the damn thing small enough.

    Help!

Glen, actually that has nothing to do with why she is my ex-girlfriend. That conversation took place after we had only been dating for two months or so. We continued to date for almost a year. Her mother also didn't hold it against me, because when we did break up the mother called me and told me that she thought her daughter was stupid to end our relationship and she hoped that I could remain friends with the family.
Anyone who has met Beefy (my dog) would understand my response.

Chris, they are having tests at my school right now, so I don't have much to do all week. If you post the picture you want to make an avatar of in your gallery, I would be happy to avatar-size it for you. I can even crop it if you just want part of the picture to be the avatar.
